When caring for your skin there are three things you have to think about. First of all cleansing, this is probably the most important, then mositurizing and finally protection. Cleansing is the most important as without that nothing else will have much effect. If you try to feed and moisturise skin that is covered in a layer of grime and grease nothing is going to get through and you will have wasted your time as well as your money.

It is important to remove all your make-up before going to bed at night, if you can do it earlier so that your skin has time to breathe so much the better. Sleeping with make up on is a real no-no, the pores will be clogged and your skin won’t be able to refresh itself. You could end up with all kinds of problems, the least of which would be the breakout of nasty spots and pimples. There are many different types of cleanser on the market and each has their own function. For example, to remove make-up you need to start your cleansing routine with an oil-based cream that will help to dissolve the makeup. Once you have done that, then you can remove the residue with your skin cleanser. This process should leave your skin feeling clean and tingly, and soft to the touch.

Once you have cleansed your skin, you should use a good moisturizer that helps replace any moisture stripped out by cleansers, soap and water. A good moisturizer will soak into your skin quickly and won’t clog the pores but will feed the skin and help it rejuvenate itself overnight. You can use a light moisturizer in the morning and a slightly heavier one at night if you wish, such as a good wrinkle skin cream depending on the condition of your skin. Skin condition is far more important when you are choosing a good cream than your age. My persona l favorite is Dream Weaver which I find is really nourishing for my skin.

Protecting our skin is something we don’t pay as much attention to as we should. We put sun blocks on when necessary, but we forget that other weather conditions and just the pollutants in the air can have quite a dramatic effect on our skin. Wind can be incredibly drying for your skin, as can cold. Most good moisturizers and make ups have a sun block built in, but do make sure it is high enough for the conditions where you are. You should always apply a moisturizer in the morning, even if you are going to be applying a full makeup. Don’t forget your lips either, a good lipstick will protect them, especially if it has a sun block incorporated. If you are not wearing lipstick the do use a lip balm to prevent chapping and cracking.

By following a simple three step routine – cleanse, moisturize, protect – your skin will stay healthy and look good for more years than you can imagine.

We are all familiar with the cartoon representations of heavy drinkers, a large red nose features prominently, and it’s red because of broken blood vessels. Being realistic, it takes a while for this to occur and a lot of alcohol, but every glass you drink can cause a little bit of damage. Too much alcohol can cause a deficiency of the B vitamins, and this can lead to the skin losing some of its vitality and suppleness which in turn causes all sorts of problems, from changes in your complexion, giving it a sallow and unhealthy tone through to the appearance of spots, discoloration and broken veins. Alcohol causes the blood vessels in the skin to dilate which places a great deal of pressure on the delicate capillaries in the skin making them likely to break. This results in permanent redness in areas such as the nose, and across the cheeks where those tiny little thread veins are at their most fragile.

For your skin to remain youthful and supple you need to be well hydrated, every time you take an alcoholic drink you are dehydrating your body and especially your delicate skin. The loss of hydration caused by alcohol is not something you can counteract with moisturizers as it comes from within The occasional glass of wine, and drinking in moderation won’t have to drastic an effect but you can expect to age quicker if you drink more than a reasonable amount, government guidelines can give you an idea of what is reasonable.

A heavy night out with a few too many drinks can do more than damage your skin, and you are often a sorry sight the next day, with your face looking puffy and blotchy, never mind the headache and upset stomach! If you are going out and you know you will be drinking more than is perhaps advisable at one sitting, try and take an equal amount of water for every drink you have and you will avoid the worst of the damage.

1 – Good Sun Block – if you have to economize on anything, don’t economize on this! Don’t forget that hats and sunglasses are good for protecting your skin as well.

2 – Make sure you drink enough to keep your skin hydrated, water is your best friend, but any liquid will help. It will ensure you have better general health too.

3 – Always make sure you moisturize your skin, especially if you are going outdoors for any length of time. Older skin will need a little more help, this is where a good Wrinkle Skin Cream comes in.

4 – Get sufficient sleep, tired skin is dry and grey. Make sure your pillows support your head and face, and don’t cause too many nasty skin creases.

5 – Exercise is important to maintain skin quality, and some facial exercises won’t do any harm either.

6 – Cleansing is very important; make sure you do it properly at least once a day. Don’t use anything too harsh but do make sure that you clean off all the debris of the day so that the pore don’t blocked.

7 – Test your skin care products to make sure they don’t cause problems. Manufacturers often change formulations and sometimes the new version doesn’t suit you.

8 – A good healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegetables helps to maintain you and your skin in good health. Try having one day a week meat-free, you will feel really good and your skin will thank you.

9 – Try and have one or two days a week make-up free. It lets your skin breathe and have a rest from the stresses that make-up can cause.

10 – Start Young! You are never too young to start a good skin care routine. The more you do when you are younger, the less you will have to do when you are older.

We are all fully aware of the benefits of getting a good night’s sleep but many of us don’t understand the importance of that sleep for maintaining our skin and keeping it looking as fresh as we can. When we sleep the body repairs and renews itself, obviously this goes on whilst we are awake as well, but it happens at a far higher rate whilst we rest.

A great deal of research has been done which shows that sleep deprivation reduces the body’s levels of growth hormone and it is these growth hormones that are required for the repair process. The less growth hormone that we have the less able the body is to repair the damage that has been done in the course of day to day living, never mind the extra stress factors that affect our skin such as pollution, smoke, dehydration and so on. The rate of new skin cells that are produced by the body doubles during periods of sleep so the more sleep you get the faster your skin cells will be produced and the better it will look – and you will feel. We lead busier and busier lives and the one thing that tends to suffer is good, regular sleep. We seem to think that we can manage on less and then catch up when we are not so busy, but this is not the case. Your body needs regular, quality sleep to keep you healthy. One of the first things to suffer when you don’t get enough sleep is your skin, it begins to look dull, grey and dry.

However, you also need to think about the effect of all those hours in bed on the surface of your skin as well. We need to renew from within, but we also need to care for the surface skin. Consider the way you sleep. Most people tend to sleep on their side or, if you are like me, face down. When you are sleeping your face gets pushed into the pillow and you can get quite severe crease marks from the extended time that your face is resting on the pillow. When we are younger this is not a problem, however as we mature and there is less elastin in our skin, those crease marks take longer to disappear. If we continue to sleep in that same position night after night those marks can turn into damaged areas of skin which age more quickly. Of course there are things you can do about that, sleep on your back, use soft pillows and pillow slips to reduce the pressure – even simpler is to use a good anti aging skin care product before going to bed to protect and nourish your skin.

As we mature our skin becomes more delicate and the things that we used to take for granted need a just a little more care. The effort we expended on our skin when we were younger and the lifestyle that we have lead will all have a bearing on the condition of the skin as we get older.

Often skin will becomes more sensitive to products that were once absolutely fine and you will need to look at alternative products that won’t cause a reaction, this has happened to me and Is part of the reason why I am seeking out new products for my skin. One of the benefits of getting older is that some of us who were susceptible to breakouts don’t usually have them any longer, but you can bet your bottom dollar there will be something else equally annoying that comes along. This might perhaps be drier skin or an increase in small broken veins on your face. Skin can also tend to lose some of its color and become blotchy. Age spots are another sign of age that we can all look forward to – that’s when you need a good foundation to even out a patchy appearance.

If you have been a sun worshipper in your youth, older skin can look quite leathery. This is also due to the increased dryness caused by decreased blood flow and dehydration. Maturer skin will burn much more easily when exposed to the sun and it will lack the elasticity and moisture of younger skin. This can lead to more facial lines especially around the eyes, mouth and the forehead.

Last but not least is the effect that gravity has on skin that has become less elastic over the years, though you can do a lot to prevent this by good skin care in your younger years, Mother was right when she said you should moisturize every day! There are many excellent products that can help your skin to feel and look healthy at any age. It’s really just a matter of making changes to the products, testing them out and finding wrinkle skin cream and foundations that are formulated for mature skin and suit you.

Are you one of those people who is under the misconception that dry skin causes wrinkles? While dry skin may not be the cause of wrinkles it can make the skin appear older just because of the skin condition when it is dry. Having dry skin will not help to keep it looking young and the fact that it is dry means it is missing something, either it needs more hydration or more exfoliating.

The way to make the skin appear less dry, and along with that look younger, is to see to it that it is well moisturized with a good wrinkle skin cream. It is also important to make sure that it is well hydrated and that can only come from within. The best way to make sure that your skin is properly hydrated is to drink enough water during the day so that your whole body is well hydrated, your skin will then reflect that healthy state. Don’t try and drink all your daily recommended allowance in one hit, you should be drinking small amounts all day. This will also keep your skin clear and help prevent blemishes and spots.

Even if you drink plenty of water your skin might still appear dry, that may be because of a build up of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. These dead skin cells can make the skin look flaky and dry when that is not the case. By properly exfoliating your skin and removing this surface rubbish you will get a better idea of the true condition of your skin and this will help your wrinkle skin cream to work better. By combining these two simple steps you can make sure that your dry skin isn’t too badly affected by wrinkles.

Why do you need Wrinkle Skin Cream, is there any reason why you should use it other than vanity? The skin is an indispensable to human life because it forms the barrier between the internal organs and the external environment, it is our ‘wrapping paper’ for want of a better description. The skin is essential to many vital functions that maintain a healthy body.

The outer layer consists of layers of dead cells that have been “keratinized”. These form an efficient protective cover against the attacks of harmful pollutants from the external environment. The defensive function is boosted by the oily and slightly acidic secretions of the sebaceous glands, which help prevent the growth of many harmful bacteria. Beneath this strong outer layer or epidermis, are the dermis and subcutaneous tissues. These layers are not a single substance but are composed of many types of tissue, which are supported by fibrous and elastic connective strands.

So, the skin is not a single organ, but consists of many parts, each of which responds to its own particular stimulus, and each of which is vulnerable to harmful influences that may threaten it in different parts of the body. If these harmful effects are not guarded against then dermatological problems can arise and whilst wrinkles might not be seen as life threatening they can cause issues that affect your health.

Wrinkles are most likely to appear when the skin has already lost its firmness and elasticity. They are generally associated with the age of the skin, though they are more likely to occur as the result of harmful influences such as the damaging effects of the sun. Sustained exposure to ultra violet in particular, can prematurely age skin. Another major factor is the loss of fatty tissues in the skin’s innermost layer, which can be caused by excessive dieting or sudden weight loss.

Basically, skin creams are made from substances that help the skin to regenerate the lost fatty tissues and more important, the elasticity. They have special ingredients that specifically target areas to stimulate the skin to produce collagen and so increase it’s elasticity. This is why medical and skin care experts argue that using topical preparations such as a rich wrinkle skin cream, are necessary for the skin’s regeneration process and that is why you need it.

Is it more important for our skins or our egos? I’m not a great one for using such things – I have a temperamental skin that does all kinds of nasty things at the drop of a hat. However, I found myself looking in the mirror the other day after a particularly hot day spent on the golf course and I spotted, horror of horrors, the beginnings of a few lines.

My age is no secret, I’m 52 and proud of it. Do I worry about wrinkles because they will show my age? Not at all, but I am concerned for other reasons. Vanity? Yes and no at the same time. I have always gone through life telling everyone that you should care, first and foremost, about yourself. My argument for this is that if you don’t, how can you care for anyone else? You will either not be well enough, have a poor sense of self-worth or you will have no experience of caring. It is about care, not about being selfish. So what does wrinkle skin cream have to do with that?

I share my philosophy at every opportunity. If I have a face covered in wrinkles people are going to look at me and think ‘What is she talking about, she doesn’t care enough about herself to put a bit of cream of her face’. That may be shallow to some people but it’s true and it makes a mockery of my much vaunted policy of looking after myself.

Do I care about that? Too right I do, and that is where the vanity comes in. So will I be using a wrinkle skin cream? Yes I will, and that means I need to know as much as I can about what is good, what is value for money and what suits sensitive skins. This is going to be a voyage of discovery that many women, and a few men, will come to, so it seems logical to share it – hence Wrinkle Skin Cream Data. Feel free to join my voyage and share any discoveries that you might make too.

Wrinkle Skin Cream is very popular with many women these days, and why not, we all want to look younger for longer.

When looking at wrinkle skin cream products, one thing that always comes up are vitamin C based anti wrinkle skin products. These work by enabling structural skin proteins like collagen to do their job. These types of wrinkle skin cream are related to anti-oxidants, however those based on vitamin C are in danger of becoming oxidised themselves particularly as they come into contact with air during use. This is why some wrinkle skin cream is based on derivatives of vitamin C, which are generally more stable and less expensive. The downside is that the effectiveness of such face care is not as great as it is for true vitamin C based skin creams.

As well as the C vitamins, vitamin E and lipoic acid are also anti-oxidants. Liponic acid is acknowledged to reduce the signs of aging most effectively by reversing any skin damage caused by the aging process. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble anti-oxidant that is present in blood and helps to build up resistance against infection and boost the immune system. Some B-vitamins such as B5, B6 and B12 are also used for wrinkle skin cream.

Phytochemicals are yet another type of natural ingredient used in wrinkle skin cream. These are chemicals that are extracted from plant material and many are in use today in the beauty industry. Phytochemicals are known to help prevent the occurrence of certain types of cancer such as prostate, breast and colon cancer. This one of the reasons they are found in skin and face products.

The market for wrinkle skin cream is huge and has benefitted from a great deal of research. Many of the currently available products are very effective but work is still being done to make them yet more effective and affordable.

Wrinkle Skin Cream should only be used in addition to good health practices such as a drinking plenty of water, having a good night’s sleep, exercising on a regular basis, maintaining healthy eating habits and keeping stress to a minimum. These are all important factors in holding back the aging process. No wrinkle skin cream can ever replace them.
